Design matters

HMC is on the cusp of a new era: one that recognizes that good design can change the world. We’re looking for the next generation of architects and design leaders who want to be a part of a work culture that embraces collaboration, innovative thought, and creating exceptional design. The internship program at HMC is based on the structure set forth by the AIA Intern Development Program. Interns are exposed to multiple project types, ranging from Pre-K–12 and higher education to healthcare and civic or government work, while industry experts serve as mentors throughout the internship program, providing leadership and guidance.

You won’t be stuck in a box

At HMC, internship duties won’t include picking up redlines or bringing in coffee for the team. We encourage interns to share their ideas, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to projects that shape our communities and impact the design community at large.
