The Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.) Spring Symposium, Reshaping the Physical School Environment to Accelerate Student Learning and Engagement, is focused on rethinking the design of schools and the classroom learning environment. Hosted at Washington Elementary School, a STEAM academy designed by HMC Architects, the Spring Symposium brings teachers, principals, and other instructional leaders together with facility planners, architects, engineers, and design professionals to share how changes in instruction and learning are transforming classrooms and schools. Join HMC’s Brian Meyers and Aaron Buehring, lead architects for Washington Elementary School’s recent redesign, as they share their experience with changing the way we design schools.
