HMC Architects’ Associate Principal/Vice President of Sustainability Eric Carbonnier, Phd, Architect, LEED AP BD+C, is presenting at the fifth annual San Diego Green Building Conference and Expo on Sept. 22, 2017. The program will focus on initiatives the San Diego green building community is taking towards sustainable practices and making San Diego a leader in exceeding climate goals set by current local and state regulations.

The County of San Diego Zero Net Energy Framework presentation, moderated by Kyle Frandsen (Balfour Beatty), also includes Charley Marchesano (County of San Diego) and Beth Brummitt (Brummitt Energy Associates, Inc.). The presentation will review the framework that the County of San Diego has developed for reaching statewide 2030 goals of Zero Net Energy and 50 percent energy use reduction in existing buildings.

The conference, which takes place at the SDG&E Energy Innovation Center in San Diego, Calif., brings together over 50 local change makers who are involved in some of the most innovative initiatives locally and nationwide.
