Laurie Connell has come a long way since her childhood dreams of being a fashion designer. With a knack for designing her own patterns and sewing her own clothes, design came to her in a different form: through architecture. Today, Laurie focuses on healthcare and education design, with roles encompassing site analysis, programming, planning, and construction administration.

Laurie currently works to manage the design and construction of large medical facilities, such as the Kaiser Fontana Replacement Hospital and multiple projects at Loma Linda Medical Center. She has been with the firm since 1985 and has also served on HMC’s Board of Directors.
