With more than 40 years of experience in architecture, Pasqual Gutierrez offers the unique combination of technical expertise and a complex sensitivity for design that makes him a tremendous director of architecture—and an incredible mentor. As a leader at HMC, Pasqual is committed to sharing his experience with team members and was instrumental in developing our peer mentorship program for emerging professionals.

Pasqual's influence isn’t limited to HMC. He is actively involved in the architecture community-at-large, including his posts as the president of the AIA Inland Chapter and a delegate to Washington D.C. for the AIA 150th anniversary celebration. In 2006, Pasqual was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to the California Architects Board and he currently serves on HMC’s Board of Directors.
