HMC Architects announced the appointment of industry-leading design technology expert Nash Reyes as the firm’s new director of digital practice. In his role, Reyes will lead HMC’s vision toward the application and integration of various digital technologies—including building information modeling, computational design, design analysis, virtual reality, and project delivery tools.
“With Nash’s leadership and experience, our digital practice is taking a leading role in advancing tools, workflows, and emerging technologies that enable our design teams to deliver outstanding solutions for our clients,” says HMC President and Chief Executive Officer Brian Staton.
Reyes will lead a team of experts in digital technologies to develop and integrate new design and project delivery solutions.
“I am thrilled to lead a dynamic team of technologists and architects in a digital revolution to fulfill HMC’s mission,” says Reyes. “I look forward to applying new ways of doing design and architecture to anticipate the needs of our communities, raise our digital IQ, and bring practical approaches to solve complex problems.”
Reyes is an associate AIA and has over 23 years of experience in the AEC industry. In the last 15 years, he has led diverse teams to overcome the barriers of adopting new technology in architectural practice.
