HMC Architects announced that Nancy Reyes has joined the firm as associate principal/BIM Director. Reyes brings more than twelve years of BIM implementation experience and a practical approach to project delivery using technology. Located in HMC’s Ontario office, Reyes will be instrumental in elevating HMC’s level of BIM maturity and focus on continuous improvement, development, standardization, support and education to drive efficiency, and increased productivity and innovation.

“We are excited to welcome Nancy as a valuable addition to our team,” said Evan Troxel, director of digital practice at HMC. “Her experience will help us build a culture of innovation by integrating new processes and using digital tools to design, document, and deliver projects.”

Reyes received her education from Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California and worked as a designer before focusing her career on BIM technology. Her shared values of excellence and experience will enhance HMC’s digital practice capabilities as she assembles and trains teams to carry out the firm’s technology vision.

Reyes comes to HMC from Gensler Los Angeles, where she served as regional design technology leader after spending eight years as senior BIM lead at HDR Los Angeles. From healthcare and hospitality to workplace and athletics projects, she has distinguished herself as a technology leader—developing the BIM delivery process for clients like the California Prison Receivership (CPR) Program, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and LA Football Club (LAFC).

Reyes’ experience in both design and BIM will help bring high value and ROI for HMC clients through her ability to provide innovative solutions, smarter design, faster results, and reduced cost—while remaining focused on distinguishing HMC through design excellence.
