HMC Architects’ Healthcare Practice Leader Christopher Naughton, AIA, ACHA explores the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on healthcare design in Building Design + Construction (BD+C) magazine’s new streaming show, “The Weekly.” Naughton was interviewed by BD+C Editorial Director David Barista about the rise of telehealth and telemedicine, and the integration of technologies for identifying and tracking infectious patients.

The show’s air date coincides with HMC’s first batch in a series of published white papers that focus on COVID-19 as it relates to five main areas of Technology, Adaptability and Flexibility, Regulatory/Budgetary/Institutional Impacts, Space Needs Restructuring, and Impact to Wellness/Mental Health. The downloadable white papers—which delve into the healthcare, higher education, PreK-12, and civic markets—will be released weekly at over the next five weeks.

BD+C’s “The Weekly” is a fast-paced streaming program featuring expert insights, timely discussion, and industry innovations.
