The SCUP 47 International Conference in Chicago is coming up this July, and if you’ve never attended, it’s definitely a worthwhile event. With more than 100 educational sessions, workshops, and excellent plenary speakers, this conference is full of opportunities to learn about current issues and best practices from recognized thought leaders across higher education.

I attend the SCUP International Conference each year, and every time I learn new things that I apply directly to my area of focus—master planning in higher education. As the Membership Vice-Chair on the Pacific Regional Council, I encourage architects and planners to get involved in SCUP, attend an event to learn something new, and expand your network within the higher educational community.
