HMC Architects’ Healthcare Practice Leaders Kirk Rose, AIA, DBIA and George Vangelatos, AIA, LEED AP BD+C are speaking about emergency department design trends at the AIA Los Angeles “Past, Present and Future Emergency Department Design: Six Case Studies” program on August 16, 2017.

The program, hosted by AIA LA’s Committee on Architecture in Healthcare (CAH), will focus on changing trends in emergency department design over the past 10 years. Each firm will showcase three California projects, consisting of one past project, one recently completed project, and one future project. The program will include the facility goals and the planning solution, and how these have evolved with each project.

The discussion, which takes place at HOK’s showroom in Culver City, Calif., is one of CAH’s highly attended monthly presentation programs.
