HMC Architects’ Principal in Charge Dena Null, DBIA, LEED AP BD+C has completed the Design-Build Institute of America’s (DBIA) comprehensive education, training, and certification testing program to achieve the design-build industry’s designation as a nationally certified Design-Build Professional.
Dena shares that becoming DBIA certified “shows our commitment to collaboration done right and strengthens our ability to lead innovative, integrated project teams and deliver exceptional value to our clients.”
Dena has over 28 years of healthcare experience. Her specialties include comprehensive medical planning, healthcare infrastructure, disaster preparedness and rapid response, behavioral health facilities, and USP 797/800 pharmacy clean room experience. She has worked on numerous design-build projects over the past three decades, and earning this DBIA certification represents her commitment to this collaborative delivery method and deepened her ability to foster teamwork, streamline communication, and apply best practices that lead to successful project outcomes.
