HMC Architects’ Healthcare Planner and Researcher Adeleh Nejati, AIA, PhD, LEED AP, WELL AP, EDAC, will be speaking at the Healthcare Design Expo and Conference on Nov. 5, 2019 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Nejati is speaking with Kathy Okland a Senior Healthcare Consultant/ Nurse from Herman Miller and Linda Knodel, Senior Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive of National Nursing Strategy and Leadership for Kaiser Permanente in a session titled “Research-based Innovations for Designing Staff Restorative Environments.” The three will discuss the empirical evidence, environmental design features, and cultural influences that can foster conditions to support clinician satisfaction, performance, and, ultimately, the patient experience.
