HMC Architects’ Daniel Perschbacher has completed the Design-Build Institute of America’s comprehensive education, training, and certification testing program to achieve the design-build industry’s designation as a nationally certified Associate Design-Build Professional.

Perschbacher has over 16 years of experience in healthcare architecture spanning nearly every project type and delivery method. He currently serves as a trusted advisor on a team of designers providing A/E support services for the University of California, Irvine’s Campus Medical Complex, and Center for Advanced Care. In addition to UCI Health, he supports clients across Southern California on nearly $1B worth of design and construction, including Kaiser Permanente, Scripps Health, and Rady Children’s Hospital, with project types including CMAR, Design-Build, and Progressive Design-Build.

The DBIA is a membership organization founded to advocate and advance single-source project delivery within the design and construction community. The design-build method of project delivery embraces architecture, engineering, and construction services under a single contract, thereby re-integrating the roles of designer and constructor. In addition to public- and private-sector project owners, DBIA members include practitioners from all project phases.
