A design-build contract was awarded for the design of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s new patient tower in Valencia, Calif. The new $110 million, 160,000-square-foot project will be led by Bernards and HMC. It will house 116 beds, two C-section rooms, a café, materials management, and future expansion shell space, as well as a rooftop helipad. The six-story tower will have five-stories above ground and one below.
