HMC Architects Project Designer JeeAe Kim passed her LEED Green Associate Exam and is now a LEED Green Associate. As a sustainability advocate, JeeAe thoughtfully considers how the built environment impacts people and the planet, and wanted to back that passion with formal knowledge. She said, “gaining this certification ensures I understand the core strategies, terminology, and frameworks used across green building projects, so I can contribute more meaningfully and confidently.”
With this new distinction, JeeAe is excited to better support clients’ goals and identify opportunities for efficiency, healthier materials, and performance improvements earlier in the design process to help teams make informed decisions.
She brings her passion for sustainability into every aspect of her interior design work. Her work on the Chino Preserve Community Library stands out as a particularly meaningful experience. As a member of the project team, she carefully sourced materials and finishes with a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility. Through extensive research, she identified and selected healthier finish options that not only aligned with our sustainability goals but also contributed to improved indoor air quality.
Earning these credentials is a testament to JeeAe’s dedication, growth, and commitment to the industry as she continues to advance her career.
Congratulations JeeAe!
