Roseville City School District broke ground on the new 7.6-acre Winding Creek Elementary School in Roseville, California. HMC Architects was proud to join our design-build partners Balfour Beatty, city officials, and district leaders to celebrate this construction milestone.

The 61,434 SF elementary school will serve 650 TK-6 students with five buildings, 28 classrooms, flexible and specialty learning areas, library, multi-purpose building, administrative support spaces, playgrounds, and on-site sidewalks and landscaping. Designed to foster student growth and collaboration, the campus offers dynamic learning spaces that inspire teamwork and creativity.

With a dedicated TK/K play area and an on-site after-school program, this school is set to provide an exceptional educational experience for every student. Construction will complete in August 2026, in time for the 2026-2027 school year.
