HMC Architects’ BIM Technologist Tadeh Hakopian will speak at the Digital Built Environment Institute’s (DBEI) Data Day on July 30 in a session titled “Big Data for Big Projects, Using Information for Any Scale of Design.”
The average architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) project has gigabytes of data content that, when used properly, can unleash tremendous value. Hakopian will discuss big data in the AEC industry, industry-wide data classification standards and trends, and how to harness that data to increase efficiencies in project workflows and bring value to the owner.
DBEI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the built environment and the AECO industry. Data Day brings together representatives from a variety of AECO companies to discuss data’s role in a building’s life-cycle.
