Western Placer Unified School District’s Twelve Bridges High School marked the grand opening of its new athletic fields with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The HMC Architects design team, construction partners Flint Builders, district officials, and distinguished community members were present.

With a proud history of athletic success, the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos now have enhanced facilities to support their student-athletes. The project includes renovated varsity baseball and softball fields, a new softball field, a new baseball field, two new soccer fields to the south, a new flag football and PE field to the north, a new concession/ticket building, and a restroom facility.

A standout feature of the concession/ticket building is its breezeway entry, designed to reflect the school’s existing architecture while shielding the complex from the region’s strong winds. The breezeway also serves as a Hall of Fame, showcasing student-athletes who have earned full college scholarships and current track and field records. The restroom and concession buildings are separate, creating a natural division between home and visitor fans while allowing efficient service from a single concession stand.

This past season, Twelve Bridges’ varsity football team secured the Nor-Cal 2A and San Juaquin Sacramento D4 Championship titles. With these new fields, student-athletes are eager to build on their success and look forward to another promising season.
