Dental hygiene is a high-demand health career, and Oxnard College’s renowned dental hygiene program was past due for a new, modern facility that meets the increasing needs of their students. Located near the campus’ edge, the new Dental Hygiene School is a cutting-edge facility well-equipped to train the next generation of dental professionals and prepare them for a career in public health.

Oxnard College needed a replacement building for their Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs that could handle their rigorous training, and that also enhanced its bond to the campus and surrounding community. Our design solutions provide students with the technical spaces they need to learn and practice. Students can attend classes and treat their clients in the dental clinic, and in the dental lab they’re able to work on real-world projects, such as making molds for teeth. The radiology/dark room is outfitted with both modern and classic X-ray equipment to provide students with a well-rounded education. And to strengthen its connection to the community and campus, the Dental Hygiene School offers low-cost dental hygiene services to the public.
