HMC Architects’ Director of School Advisors Julie Strauss is among a panel of seasoned experts and school leaders who will discuss the challenges of opening campuses and educating students while keeping them, as well as teachers, employees and parents safe from infection in a webinar hosted by California’s Coalition for Adequate School Housing’s (CASH) on May 14.
The topic of the webinar is “School Schedules, Class Size with Social Distancing and Other Issues Addressing Public Health Security Fears.” It is the second in a series of discussions about the impact of COVID-19 on California’s schools. The webinar will include discussion and comment from parents of school-age children as to their concerns about re-entry onto campuses and into classrooms in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
