We’re honored to share that Mercer Middle School has received a 2026 AIA Washington Civic Design Honor Award, and that Evergreen High School earned an Honorable Mention!

Recognized for its thoughtful expression of community identity, Mercer was celebrated for a design that tells the story of its community through vibrant use of color, meaningful details, and spaces that inspire curiosity and connection. We’re proud to have partnered in creating a learning environment that is rooted in place, reflects the people it serves, and supports students for generations to come.

Evergreen High School was recognized for demonstrating how thoughtful public investment can create enduring civic value. By aligning community vision, educational innovation, environmental stewardship, and architectural excellence, the project transforms the high school into a place where students, families, and neighbors feel connected to one another, to the landscape, and to a shared future.
