HMC Architects was named a top architecture firm by General Contractors Magazine as one of “The Four Best Commercial Architects in Saratoga, California,” one of “The Five Best Commercial Architects in San Bernardino, California,” and one of “The Five Best Commercial Architects in Rancho Cucamonga, California.”

Founded in 1940 with the purpose of anticipating community needs, HMC aims to create designs that have a positive impact, now and into the future. We focus primarily on opportunities to have the most direct contribution to communities—through healthcare, education, and civic spaces throughout California. In addition to award-winning design work and innovative design solutions, HMC has recently embarked on a series of research initiatives to develop solutions for clients’ most pressing concerns. To help schools and facilities professionals create equitable everyday outdoor learning experiences on their campuses, the Los Angeles County Office of Education has published design guidelines with the support of HMC Architects and engineering and construction experts. The aim is not just to facilitate short-term solutions but to reinforce our momentum towards learning environments that enhance student success, wellness, and community.
