To truly understand and improve the healthcare experience for patients with cancer, HMC Architects has conducted an in-depth study with some of our own HMC colleagues who have either been patients themselves or had a family member in treatment.

As architects we focus on the environmental touch points that support hope and resolve. So, we mapped the process to learn more about the benefits patients and their family members perceived. The patient stories outlined in this report have become our lessons.
