HMC Architects’ Community + Culture Practice Leader Kyle Peterson was named as a 2023 Leader of Influence in Architecture and Design by the San Diego Business Journal 

As HMC’s community + culture practice leader, Peterson is responsible for the firmwide vision and strategic growth of the practice and delivering upon the firm’s mission of design for good with our clients and communities. As the managing principal for our San Diego office, he is responsible for the studio’s strategic direction and overall performance and supports the growth and development of an exceptionally talented team. He sits on HMC’s board of directors as an advisor and serves on HMC’s executive committee. Since joining HMC in 2001, Peterson has earned a fantastic reputation with the clients he serves in the firm’s education and civic markets.
