On April 24, Western Placer Unified School District (WPUSD) hosted a special groundbreaking ceremony for the new Twelve Bridges High School in Lincoln, California. In attendance were HMC Architects’ Kris Livingston, Brian Meyers, Michael Rath, and Sam Wolfgram as well as representatives from Flint Builders, WPUSD, and the city of Lincoln.

The new high school will accommodate the growing Lincoln community with room for over 1,200 students. The first phase of the project is approximately 135,100 square feet and will feature classrooms, an administration building, an athletic stadium and fields, space for performing arts, and staff and student parking. We are excited to be working with Flint Builders, the project’s general contractor, and look forward to completing construction by Fall, 2021.

Along with Twelve Bridges High School, HMC is also working with WPUSD to design their newest elementary school, Leaman Elementary School, which will break ground this week.
