Last month, James Woolum traveled to Valparaíso, Chile to speak at the Congreso de Infraestructura para la Educación Superior (Congress Infrastructure for Higher Education), an international conference aimed at sharing and exchanging experiences in higher education management, finance, services and technology.
In his presentation, “Design for the New Student: Anywhere, Anyplace, Anytime,” James investigates the students of today, defines native versus digital immigrants, explains how students are changing but our educational environments are not and then offers ideas to address the gaps.
