Since 2013, HMC Architects’ Evan Troxel, AIA, has been leading discussions about all things architecture in his podcast, “Archispeak.” Alongside co-hosts Neal Pann and Cormac Phalen, Evan explores industry trends, discusses what it’s really like to be an architect, and shares his perspective and passion for the profession.

Past Archispeak episodes have featured conversations about a day in the life of an architect, millennials in the studio, surviving architecture school and licensure, and how architecture can make a difference. Archispeak also goes on the road—in 2016, Evan and his co-hosts traveled to Philadelphia to attend the AIA National Convention and share their experience and insights in a special three-part podcast series.

As a senior project designer at HMC, Evan designs K-12 and higher education learning environments for tomorrow’s students. A true lifelong learner, his projects embody progression, embrace technology, and empower students to succeed. Recent projects include Clearwater Elementary School, Golden West College Math and Science Building, and Liberty Community Plaza.
