HMC Architects’ Vice President of Sustainability Eera Babtiwale, LEED AP BD+C accepted the US Green Building Chapter- Los Angeles (USGBC-LA) Heart of the Chapter Award. The award was presented at USGBC-LA’s 15th Annual Green Gala on December 11 at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. The award was presented to Babtiwale in appreciation for her hard work and dedicated leadership in advancing the green building movement throughout the Los Angeles region.

Babtiwale co-leads sustainable efforts at HMC, is a regular speaker at sustainability conferences, and has led the sustainability analysis for over 30 projects. She strives to make a positive impact through energy, water and waste use, and in educating and inspiring building users through high-performance features.
