HMC Architects’ Associate Principal Marko Blagojevic, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, BD+C, is presenting at the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference (CHESC) at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Marko will be joined by Katie LaPlace, Senior Construction Manager, Campus Planning and Development at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) to discuss sustainable features of the Joel and Dena Gambord Business and Information Technology Building at CSUMB. The program will cover project’s goals and how they were achieved, key sustainable design features, and lessons learned.

The California Higher Education Sustainability Conference (CHESC) highlights cutting-edge research, as well as case studies with proven successes in curriculum development, operational programs, and community partnerships. This unique event is jointly organized by independent / private colleges, California Community Colleges, California State Universities, and the University of California creating the opportunity for dialogue across institutions.
